Timberwolves Tickets Guide – Best Food At The Target Center
After you save big bucks on Minnesota Timberwolves tickets at ScoreBig.com, you’ll be able to chow down on the fine food that they have to offer at the Target Center. T-Wolves forward Kevin Love is the master of the double-double, and you too can double up on the quality eats around the arena. Let the great staff at the Target Center dish out these great foods much like Ricky Rubio does with the basketball on the court.
Prior to the start of the season, the Target Center Chef Wayne Skjelstad unveiled a whole new look to the menu inside the arena. Let’s take a look at exactly what we’re talking about…
At BIG RED’S BBQ – Section 104, the Ball Hog was the first part of the cuisine renovation- a half-pound kielbasa topped with your choice of sauerkraut, mustard and/or special sauce. After that they took to intensifying the BBQ menu with the new Bar-B-Que Burger – a third-pound burger topped with pulled pork, BBQ sauce and crispy onions. If that’s too much for your appetite, the simple Pulled Pork Sandwich is available, as well as their delicious Brisket Sandwich where the brisket is cooked long and slow with their secret blend of herbs and spices.
At State Fare – Section 113, you’ll find that the T-Wolves mascot Crunch has his own signature dish. Crunch’s Tater Tot Supreme is a mix between nachos and tots and comes with sour cream, nacho cheese and pico de gallo. You can also get Corn Dogs, Tater Tot Cups, Chicken Tender Baskets, Cheese Curds and and quarter-pound Hot Dog.
At Full Court Press – Section 136, a couple sandwiches have been fan-favorites as well. The Italian Panini with salami, pepperoni, pesto mayonnaise and mozzarella with a side of marinara sauce. The other is the Steak Sandwich- a six-ounce steak with grilled onions and provolone cheese served on a ciabatta bun.
At the EASTSIDE GRILL – Section 109/WESTSIDE GRILL – Section 129, this stand has most of your arena favorites. Ask them to fire up a cheeseburger for you, or put together a finely-crafted chicken sandwich (also available with buffalo chicken). You can also get down on classics like chicken fingers, french fries, and some delicious cheese curds as well.
At DISTRICT DOGS – Sections 106, 116, 118, 126 & 136 you can find one of the finest bratwursts in the area- definitely one of the best in any of the arenas in the league; top it with sauerkraut, mustard or the special sauce. The Italian Sausage is also one of the best in the biz, and is a monstrosity to handle. Make sure you’re up for the challenge. Also available here are the Downtown Dog, pretzels with cheese, nachos and popcorn.
At Loco Lobo’s – Section 133 you can load up on Mexican favorites like the aptly named Nacho Grande, loaded with all the favorites. Also available are Burrito Bowls, Burritos, Tacos and Nachos. If you’re feeling like celebrating a T-Wolves win early, you can slurp down one of their famous frozen margaritas as well.
