ScoreBig has Partnered with Ticketfly
We’re excited to announce that we’ve partnered with Ticketfly, a social media platform that provides event promoters and venues with tools to market and sell their tickets. Beyond just selling tickets, the Ticketfly platform provides sellers with social marketing and analytics tools.
Partnering up means that we can offer you access to Ticketfly’s inventory of more than 75,000 artists and some of the country’s most notable venues.
“This partnership will provide ScoreBig members with access to savings across an increased number of events and venues in the live music space. We’re excited to work with Ticketfly and their clients and integrate our opaque sales solution into their unique social ticketing platform,” says Adam Kanner, our CEO.
Nothing else will change with this partnership. We’ll still always offer tickets for less, with no fees and free shipping—you’ll still have access to our low-price tickets, for great events in Sports, Theater and Music. NBA, NHL, MLB, NFL, Broadway, Theater, Music and more. Just more of them.

Tickets Go Social with ScoreBig’s Facebook Timeline Integration
Live events are always more fun with friends, so starting today, ScoreBig is helping you connect your ScoreBig activity with friends on Facebook. We’re among the first companies worldwide to launch a new Facebook Timeline app that makes it easier to discover live events online. The app allows you to share far more than a simple “Like” from ScoreBig—you can now highlight the offers you’ve made on tickets, as well as the deals you scored on tickets.
Once you’ve connected your Facebook account with ScoreBig, you can share your activity with your friends through the ticker, the News Feed, and on your timeline. Because we don’t want to be the ones responsible for ruining your brother’s birthday surprise by inadvertently sharing that you’re bidding on baseball tickets, you can control what you share and who you share it with. The app gives you the option to turn it completely on or off, as well as turn off or remove individual activities.
ScoreBig: One of America’s Most Promising Companies
Forbes recently conducted a comprehensive search to find the stand out start-ups that represent America’s Most Promising Companies. We’re honored to be a winner of this prestigious award. Additionally, ScoreBig was highlighted as one of the top 16 companies to watch with revenues under $1 million [in 2010, which was before our public launch.]
Our CEO Adam speaks for everyone here when he says, “It is an honor to be recognized by such an influential publication. This helps validate what we are working towards as a company – to help consumers affordably attend more live events and to help the live entertainment industry fill seats that would otherwise go unsold.”
To create the list, Forbes teamed up with CB Insights, a data firm that tracks investment in high-growth private companies. CB’s software, called Mosaic, mines online sources (from press releases and social networks to job boards and court filings) to come up with one, algorithmically derived score that measures a company’s health. Forbes married Mosaic’s data with old-fashioned reporting to assemble the list of 100 American companies with bright growth prospects. You can learn more about the award and the other companies that won on Forbes.com.

Release: ScoreBig Honored by Forbes
SCOREBIG HONORED BY FORBES AS ONE OF “AMERICA’S MOST PROMISING COMPANIES”
Annual List Identifies Top U.S.-based, High-Growth, Privately Held Businesses
LOS ANGELES (November 30, 2011) – ScoreBig (www.scorebig.com), a new members-only site offering guaranteed savings of up to 60% and no fees on tickets for sports, concert and theater events, has been selected by Forbes as one of “America’s Most Promising Companies” for the magazine’s prestigious list. The announcement was made today after an intensive national search. Forbes‘ list of America’s Most Promising Companies features 100 privately held up-and-comers with compelling business models, strong management teams, and investment capital.
“It is an honor to be recognized by such an influential publication,” said Adam Kanner, ScoreBig CEO. “This helps validate what we are working towards as a company – to help consumers affordably attend more live events and to help the live entertainment industry fill seats that would otherwise go unsold.”
To sharpen its search, Forbes teamed up with CB Insights, a Manhattan-based data firm that tracks investment in high-growth private companies. With $650,000 in grants from the National Science Foundation, CB has developed complex software called Mosaic that mines myriad online sources (from press releases and social networks to job boards and court filings) to come up with one, algorithmically derived score that measures a private company’s health. Forbes married Mosaic’s data-crunching with old-fashioned reporting to assemble a list of rising stars with bright growth prospects.
“Sizing up younger, privately held companies is hard: Their fortunes can change very quickly and there’s a dearth of public data,” says Forbes Executive Editor Brett Nelson. “We took a more comprehensive approach to evaluate their health and potential.”
The full “America’s Most Promising Companies” list is available online at Forbes.com and will be featured in the December 19th edition of Forbes Magazine.

“I Might Go”
If you’re like us, there are tons of events you’d love to see, but for one reason or another, you aren’t quite ready to pull the trigger on a ticket purchase. Maybe you need to line up a babysitter, double-check that you don’t have a late meeting or make sure your occasionally flaky friends commit before buying tickets.
We’re making it easy to keep track of these events with our “I Might Go” feature.
Every event on ScoreBig has an “I Might Go” option. Simply click the “I Might Go” button on an event that interests you and we’ll send you an email 48 hours in advance of the tickets expiring. Then you get to decide whether to buy or not.
It’s an easy way to remind yourself of great events on ScoreBig. There’s no limit to the number of events you can mark “I Might Go,” and, of course, there’s no obligation to buy.
At ScoreBig we’re focused on making the best events more affordable and easier to attend. “I Might Go” is another great way to help you keep track of the events you want to see. Why not try it out right now?
Here’s how:
Search for an event you want to attend. Like the LA Kings vs. Anaheim Ducks. Then click “More Info.”
Click the “I might go…remind me later.” Button.
That’s it! ScoreBig will send you an email reminder 48 hours before tickets expire on the site.
You can also share the event with friends on Facebook to see if they want to join you.
You can manage and remove any upcoming event reminders in the Communications section of your account settings.
